Outpatient treatment for adults recovering from heroin, fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone and other opioids, usually right after detox or residential care. You keep your life moving while you do the deeper work.
When a prescription or a habit starts running things
Opioid use often starts somewhere understandable: pain, a prescription, a hard season. It can become dependence before anyone names it. If some of these signs sound familiar, reach out. The first conversation is about listening, not judging.
Recognizing a few of these is reason enough to call. You don’t need to be sure.
Abstinence-based, medication-friendly
During the program, the only opioid-related medications are anti-craving medications prescribed and managed by a qualified provider. Treatment happens in PHP, IOP or OP, and most people join us after detox or residential care. You also meet one-on-one with your primary therapist every week for 45 to 60 minutes, and free door-to-door transportation to and from our center is available if you can’t drive yourself.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are supported when a qualified outside provider prescribes and manages them. If you already have one, we keep care connected. If you don’t, we refer you.
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management through Telemed Clinix, scheduled for you in a private office on site.
The same clinician leads your group for the whole session, so the work goes deeper instead of restarting every hour.

Psychodynamic work, inner child work and Internal Family Systems look at what the opioids were quieting, at a pace that’s safe for you.
With your consent, your therapist contacts a loved one in your first week, and involvement grows at your pace.
Opioids often quiet something else: anxiety, depression, trauma. When the substance goes, those feelings can come back louder. We treat both at the same time, with therapy and psychiatric care from one team, so you’re not left facing them alone. We track depression and anxiety symptoms with the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 throughout treatment, and review your treatment plan with you every month.

If you’ve been using opioids consistently for a while, medically supervised detox and often residential treatment come first, so you’re medically stable before intensive therapy starts.
Methadone maintenance needs a different kind of program than ours. If that’s where you are, we’ll help you find it. Either way, we’ll plan Sunview as your next step.
The step after detox, with your medication plan kept in place
Most people join us right after detox or residential care.
Week one
Intake, your first groups and your first individual session. With your consent, your therapist contacts a loved one. We schedule your Telemed Clinix psychiatric appointment for you, and if you take Suboxone or Vivitrol, we coordinate with your prescriber.
A typical day
PHP is one continuous group from 9 AM to 1 PM with the same facilitator. Evening IOP meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 PM. Once a week, 45 to 60 minutes with your primary therapist, plus random drug testing.
Over time
From PHP to IOP, then OP, with the same team. Your medication stays with your outside prescriber, and we keep care connected.
Where most people start after detox
Most people start in the Partial Hospitalization Program right after detox or residential care, for daily structure while living at home. From there they step down to the Intensive Outpatient Program and then the Outpatient Program, with the same team. Our Clinical Director recommends where you start.

Sunview Wellness was the icing on the cake in my mental health journey and recovery and it honestly changed my life for the better..This program was outstanding in the approach they implement to help all of their clients. The important thing is you have to really want the help and do the work to get where you want and need to be. Sunview Wellness is second to none. The staff at Sunview are amazing people who truly want to make their clients lives better and healthier. The staff provides you and others with an environment conducive to healing, learning and managing your life. You are able to express yourself without judgment from the staff or other clients. You are provided guidance through group sessions, private one-on-one sessions with a therapist and written materials to use outside of the facility. Although Sunview Wellness is a business and needs revenue to survive, the staff focuses predominately on your health and not on its bottom line.
